Default Wylie Long line report 4/10/2019

My oldest Grandson has Wednesday off so we went fishing. Almost called it off because I thought it was going to be a bad day for trash wind and mud. Launched at Big Allison about 8:00. Big A was filled with trash and Mud. Big logs and all. So I sad cant fish this. So went to beaver dam Creek knew it would be more friendly for wind and trash for it seems to stay clearer better. Fish two hour caught 2 fish. Did not see much bait or fish. I knew Crowders would be trashed up but wanted to check it out any way. Yep back of creek filled with branches and logs and heavily stained. Decided to run sonar in shallow flats and saw bait and fish. Dang so much trash cannot fish. So I told Aaron time to make an adjustment. Picked up and went to Torrence. Got in Torrence and windy as all heck so I said lets take a chance and go back of the creek and go forward. Got back there and not much trash but stained. Got lines out and the next 10 minutes caught 5.Went all 1/16th on my 6 pole and kept 1/8th on two middle poles at 1 MPH so Jigs are riding high. We went back and forth through that spot and caught 5 more. Wanted to check Little Allison in the back so off we go. Crossing main channel I was surprised how all the drift wood had cleared out. Main lake looks good not stained and clear of trash. Little Allison looking real good trash gone and slightly stained. This is where Aaron caught the 15 incher in back of little Allison. Got 4 more. For what I thought would be a hard day at fishing it turned out ok. Kept 17 fish 10 inch to 15 inch. Blue and white was the better color with White and Chartruess second.

Long story short this Saturday is looking like a great day to fish. Hope to CYA all.

Brett, He's been telling you for the longest his name is Crappie Kidd and not Perch Kidd! Good report CK thank you. You got some good fish and great pictures of fish and the crew! Way to go Aaron, keep it up and with Sinkermaker this weekend you'll wear them out!

I don't know about the Lessons, cause I still fish on the BLIND hog theory , Wish we could have been there Saturday, even in the rain... Maybe next time.
