Back to Beaverdam this morning. I should have been there at daylight since the bite died when the wind got up about 10. I was longlining & pulling some drop shot rigs. The drop shot rigs were bouncing off the bottom. Today, all but about 6 out of 22 crappies came on the drop shot rigs. Also, I caught 12 perch. I tried 2 rods with just jigs but I did not catch a single fish this way.

Did not mark many fish at all.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Good job Mr. Charles. When I went last Tuesday my first 4 fish came on my "down rods" (drop shot rigs). That afternoon they were pretty tight to the bottom.
