    Default Wylie 3-18 & 19-19

The wind made it hard fish both days. But, we caught some crappies & perch anyway. Tried Beverdam,, Torrence & Crowders Creek. Longlining jigs tipped with minnows. Marked a lot of stuff in Crowders creek today but did not get that many hits. I think, we were going too fast or too slow since the wind was so strong.

Monday, we caught 17 good crappies & about 6 perch.

Tuesday, we caught 17 good crappies & about 25 small perch. Funny how the numbers worked out. We did not stay very long today.

Today, we found a large school of perch in Beaverdam.

Good you got out Mr. Charles, thanks for the reports. Was not a good day for fishing. Is the water getting any better? Hope to get out later this week after work for short trips.

I stayed home after work today. Super bad head ache from sinus pressure. Can't take any of my meds due to testing on my ears Thursday for my vertigo. Sure hope they can find out what's causing my dizziness. Going on 4 months now of not knowing when you going to fall and bust your butt or head on the concrete!

Water clarity is getting better. Temps this afternoon were around 54-55.

This was the first time in about 5 trips that we ran into this many perch. They were out in Beavedam in the middle out from the first big cove on the left side as you go in. Marked perch on a drift for probally 100 yrds long. All our crappies rod were going down like crazy.

Note, another fisherman told us that a big crappie tourment was being held this fri & sat at wylie so the lake will be loaded with boats.
