    Default 3/16 & 3/17

Set out on Wylie early Saturday morning. Long Lines in at daylight and the bite was pretty good up to 9:00. Fish were scattered from 15' - 33'. Tried pulling shallower in to 7-12' but got nothing. When the wind picked up the bite turned off. Kept 7 for the grill and a few perch. Threw back some fat females and some short bass.
Went out to Norman on Sunday. Trolled for hybrids but only found shorts. Only one legal fish by 12:30 so we packed it in and came home. May be back out on Wylie Tuesday if I can find minnows.
And just for BrettW: caught my first crappie ever on an orange jig Saturday......it was 13 1/2" and weighted 1.6#Name: IMG_20190316_105042.jpeg

Not a bad day for sure. They been very scattered on Wylie past week. And that wind has been tough. Hope to make it next weekend or Monday for sure. The SportsMan in Newport had minnows Friday. Hope they still got some.

Good catching. Revis grocery store in York on Hwy 49 that runs out to Hwy 161/5 near the High School had them Earlier this week. If you can't find any else where. I'll be thinking about you while I work!

Thanks for the info. Went last night to the Country Store in Tega Cay. Bought some of the last ones they had. Hopefully they stay alive until I can get off work in a couple hours. Probably going to run down to Crowders today.

Look, as a USC fan, it was painful to pay $.99 for a box of orange jig heads and even worse to spend $2.99 for a pack of orange joker jigs.

    2. No Clemson attire
