    Ive' long lined pulling hi vis, fluorocarbon. and clear can not tell any difference in how fish react. I have never pulled in gin clear water though.

    Hey! What brand and name of the orange line are you finding in 6# test? I wanna try it myself.

    That is very good line! It is a copolymer which means it will sink, good for long lining but not good for float fishing. Its REALLY sensitive and abrasion resistant too, great for shooting docks.

    Wow! That is pricey. I bought the orange Stren catfishing line but the smallest it comes in is 10 or 15 lbs.

    It equals out to the same as 9 spools of 330 yds. @ what ever that cost was per spool. Cheaper by the big spool. I'm still looking for cheapest price nothing is final thought yet. Even @ $6 x 9 = $54 I am going look some more!

    Everything i have is spooled in 6lb vicious .......I did watch a video on youtube a couple years ago of a C.com member who pulls with 6 different line colors, reason was he said makes it way easier to untangle the knotted mess caused by a striper........seems reasonable to me

    Dawg, I don't guess that price is out of line if you are SURE you want to go to that color on every rod. I thought I might try 3 or 4 reels first though.
