That's a lot of fish pushing the 3 pound range. Bet many thought they had it won by their fish weight before weigh-in.

Those are some fine fish and weights for sure. I watched the weigh in on FB live, a little slow, but enjoyable none the less. Thanks for sharing the live feed. I fished yesterday as well, (not in the tourney) my seven best weighed in at 14.21 with big fish being a male weighing in at 2.62. Lost one big at the boat that would of pushed weight to over 15. The bite was pretty good yesterday. Congrats to all the top placing teams!

I looked for yours and Tommy's name. Figured the only reason it wasn't there was because you didn't fish it. Your boat back in service now I take it?

Got it back last week Ray. I’m 1,600.00 dollars lighter, but it is repaired. I feel due to the time it took the mechanic running back and forth to the lake testing possible causes, he chose to replaces the entire VST tank (cost 800.00) in lieu of trying to single out a single component within the tank causing the issue. I truly believe now, it was the float and needle valve sticking causing the VST tank to run low on fuel when running wide open throttle, then releasing once motor was allowed to go back to idle speed. I have the replaced vapor separation tank in hand, just haven’t tinkered with it to see if I can determine if my assumption is correct.

Ink, I don't know if this is the same as the one on yours, but it's a good tutorial on the workings of the VST.

Thanks Mr. C, that exact video is the one I shared with the mechanic after Mr. Don pointed me in the right direction.

$1600 Wow. I wonder if my motor has one of those? I'll pull the cowl and look, course it's still under warranty so it won't break til the warranty runs out.
