    Default Saturday Hartwell

Went out Saturday on Hartwell, wasted most of the morning on brush piles in about 25 FOW with only 2 keepers in the boat, then decided to take a gamble in the shallow water and boy did it pay off. Longlined in 9 to 10 FOW and had a limit of keepers over 10in in about 45 minutes. Was a fun day of fishing and was quite challenging when at one point had 4 rods go down at once and just me in the boat. Water temp was 54 degrees Saturday. Will try to get some pictures posted.

Thanks! Yes sir 1/16 jigs, they did not care if they were tipped with minnows or not. I have noticed not many people show Hartwell any love on here but that is my primary lake and so far it has been good to me this year.

Well done! From reading reports, it looks like Saturday was THE day to go. By the time I tried Monday I was up against bluebird skies and gale force winds!
