    Default Finally got to go to Wylie


    Got out there after12 noon and loaded up and went to whatyoucallit creek with Everett. Found a couple crappies and large perch right off the bat, then it slowed down and then picked up and slowed down to nothing. Managed to bring home two crappies and several large perch and plenty of little rascals. 19 total with 30 or so throw backs. Minnows and jigs did the job tight lining and long lining only a short time before leaving to come home. Marked quite a bit of fish at different depths. Enjoyed the area a good bit with only an occasional bass boat coming by. This is the first time I had to fish and hunt in the same day in a while. Had fish to give away but no takers, so I had to clean fish. Everyone was not home and wouldn't get home until late. Oh well, guess I'll eat them even though I'm on a diet. Thanks Everett for a good afternoon!

    good you got to go bigdawgg I've been venturing out little bits at a time.
    felt pretty good last week and stayed out little to long and took backset of
    whatever I got. hoping to get back out pretty soon.

    Uncle Remus, I feel for you! I still got what you gave me on the phone Ofish has it too! I figure I had better go or Mr. Charles and CrappieKidd will get those fish spooked and they will be harder to catch in the day time. Then cutbait, will move in on them at night time and wipe the lake clean with the new jigs he has made. Maybe we need to tag team Wednesday morning and get thing going out there for the New Year. You think you can get a pass from momma?

    All you got to do is call! Or, if you want the pontoon for a day or two while I'm working you can have it! I'll leave the lock key where you can find it. It's gassed and charged ready to go! I'm on the morning shift now
