    Default Southern Crappie Rods

Just ordered 4 - 14 footers today. 2oz model. Its about that time! Finally got rod holders on front and rear of boat. Gonna try to tightline much more this year. Turns out i never used the proper size weights for it. Went out with micorps a time or two and he should me the proper way. Hopefully i can duplicate our prior success!

I'm jealous. Those are some nice rods.

Get at least 10 rods going out the back
Double hooks, 1/4 oz on bottom,
    1/16 on top
If you see a school of fish , make a sharp turn to get over them again!

Note to Moderaters: We need a permanent sticky attached to Brett's post warning unsuspecting newbies to ignore his post on the off chance they might actually believe him. Us old hats know better but in the interest of public good this needs to be a public service announcement.

You got to use lots of rods!
    And make sharp turns!
    Lots of hooks per rod!

    Thats how you learn quick.

Actually i was doing some of that last year, but with only 4 rods
