    Got a late start on the water about noon. Marked lots of fish but couldn't buy a bite. we fished all of the usual hot spots till about 3:30, then the perch bit fast and furious till dark. Kept about 3 dozen with some real diamond backs!! Some of the biggest I've ever seen.
    They wanted meat today with all but 3 on minnows.

    Now for just what we need........more rain!!
    I don't fish because I want to, I fish because I HAVE to !

    Glad you made it back down there and you found some biting. That's what sort of bothers me is that making a long trip and get nothing. I know that's but again I need the feel on the other end of the line to keep me happy! Course, I could hook Everett behind the ear and get a reaction!

    Thanks BigDawgg! I've just fried my share of the catch and they are delicious!!

    Got company coning in next week and I need to make another trip before that.

    If I can raise a crew and the wind don't blow, ill try Sunday.

    Its 80 miles round trip from Chestertuckey.

    Friday it's going to be rough winds I saw on the computer. I don't bank to much on extended for cast. Good luck if you go!
