    Default Salt water fare

Had to weed through a bunch of 13" Sea Trout to get a few 15" ones for dinner tonight. Fresh fish, cucumber, tomato and onion salad along with English peas. A fine meal in Southport NC.Name: 20181213_104734.jpeg

Glad to see you caught some... I wander if they’re biting down in Georgetown? If I knew they were, I might have to take a weekend trip.
    That’s good eating!

You need to contact Spotrunning, he lives down in that area. If he see the PM I'm sure he can get you a fishing report!

Thanks Ron. I am with my buddy that moved here from Oregon. He fished about 5 out of 7 days a week so he is pretty much on fish a lot. I havent met spot running but if he is in Southport, Joe and I would love to meet up with him. I' m here til Sunday, then fresh water for a while.
As to where we caught them, we fished the back side of Oak Island down at the end where the public parking lot is located. We fished in the creek not out in the surf.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!
