Caught perch across from the landing on Big Allison. Had about 30 in about 30 minutes. Off to find the cats. Started trolling down at the mouth of Big Allison. Put 3 channel cats & 1 blue in the boat. Next pass resulted in no hits. Moved up main channel to the light house. Marked a bunch of perch & caught 1 blue(12 lbs) & 1 flathead( 15 lbs) & a couple more channel cats. Ran down to the dam. Only caught perch on the drifts down toward the dam.
All of our cats were caught before about 9. After that, all we caught were perch. Probally had about 70 perch in all. Most were on the small size.
Saw some birds diving down on main channel. Caught a couple of perch where they were diving. The perch were feeding on small shad(1/2").
