Lake Wylie water conditions??

Anyone been on the lake ? Would like to know the water clarity and debris.

I think from buster Boyd bridge up river is kinda muddy. I think big Allison area might be a little more fish able. Watch out for trash in main channel and some of the creeks , keep watching the board here I'm sure somebody went fishing this morning

Got a friend there today, said the mud and debris is down to Beaverdam now.

Crossed the upper Catawba on highway 74 and the south fork river on upper Armstrong road Yesterday. Both were red, raging, and overflowing.
Just a matter of time for down lake.

Muddy down to beaver creek, lot of trees floating every where on main channel, not as muddy back in crowders creek, it is fishable. The cats are biting! i was there til 5 pm today, it got better as the day went on, lot of the logs and trees were gone when we headed in this afternoon, but there is still a lot out there.You got to watch closely,or you'l hit a tree!

Glad you caught some fish Matthew , I didn't get to fish today. I cooked 10 racks of baby back ribs and 100 leg quarters and chicken breast for a church function. I started about 11:00 this morning and finished up about 7:00 tonight.
