    Default Brown Trout for supper

Notice the color, it's sure not white like crappie or striper. I had tried some grilled and it tasted like salmon. This week I fried up some and it was goodName: IMG_2200.jpg

Looks just like fried fish to me. I have some salmon fillets that I am going to fry up( at least one batch) to see how it is. The Brown trout was just as good as the crappie or striper are to me. Only thing they are a pian to fillet, they have a section of pin bones you have to pluck out one by one.

That plate looks very good. Have never tried to fry trout but can see cooking the big Browns in the fryer

Been a while but I like brown trout. Good eating, especially fried up right after they are caught.
