    Brett, you will have your lake back real soon, it's raining big time here at the head waters of the Catawba River chain. Trust me, it's coming!!

    Looking like most of the upstate missed any damage. We only had hard winds with little rain so far.

    Yea CP, I'm still around and it time for me to start my fishing season again. it's flooded right now. it'll take a few weeks to get straighten out before I go. I'd give $50 to get that rod back too.

    They dropped high rock about 6.5ft to compensate for all the rain. I checked this morning and from yesterday at 10am to this morning a 6am the lake has come up 4ft.

    I drove over the Yadkin River this morning about 25 to 30 miles upstream from High Rock and the river looked to be up 6 or 7 feet from last week. Hopefully it won't mess it up too bad.
