    Default Wylie 8-30 & 31-18

    8-30-18

Fished above the Buster Boyd Bridge for a change. Caught bait out in main channel. On first drift, we caught 2 cats about 18 lbs. Made another set up, then got a call. End of fishing. Had to go to Rock Hill to pick up brother.

    8-31-18

Fished out of the Catawba Park. Ran out to first point & caught plenty of bait on worms. Ran over to the NC side of lake to drift. On second drift, we caught 2 blues about 15 lbs. Made a couple of passes & pick up several more. Dragging cut perch in 25 to 30'.

We ended up with 9 cats. 2 largest blues were about 15 lbs. Also, got another flathead about 14 lbs.

Way to go Mr. Charles, glad you found some of the good ones. Good reports! I better get my stuff all in one sock and get out there. They all going to have the sore mouth from all these hooks you'll putting in. I'm going to try Monday while everyone is out dove hunting. I don't expect much from my experience but I going to try.
