    Default Lake Moultrie

I am taking my daughter up to Lake Moultrie in October for some Crappie fishing. I took her to Lake Lochloosie Fl this past year but she wants to go to new places every year. We hope to long line troll but can fish by hit and run brush piles. We are staying at Black's Fish Camp.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

In general, excluding spring fishing, Santee Cooper are not great long line trolling lakes. Vertical fishing brush, vegetation, and floating logs are the proven methods of choice. Tight lining the river and creek channels are also very productive. Search for bait balls with scattered predator fish near by for best results.

The people at blacks camp should be able to put you on fish. They have some good guides there
