    Default Pontoon lights

Okay all you pontoon fishermen I got mine out of the water and finishing it up. I bought 2 strands of the 16 ft long rope lights to add to the outside of the boat. They are green in color and not used to draw bait but to see rod tips. Where would you install them on the boat on the railing or on the toons for the most light output. I have a couple removeable ones that light up the front and back of the boat.

I have my lights right above the pontoons. They are out of the way when day fishing. Green is an excellent color especially on flourescent mono.

Don, I mounted mine on aluminum strips that hang down from the top rail. I used the blue Leds and the hi his yellow line jumps out at you. They are removalable for day time.
I found the peel and stick take on the Leds doesn't stick as well as I liked so I added zip ties.
