Congratulations, prayers are with you!

Congratulations! I've been through it myself and I know how it is. I will say it is hard to let your child leave to go to the other spouse. That being said there is a lot of hurt going on all sides and you will never know how hard it is to see your baby walk away. It may seem her dad doesn't care but in his heart it may be tearing him apart. Not defending him but saying only that you'll never know the true hurt that's going on. Letting someone go to help them be happy is a truer love and hardest to do. I'm happy that it turns out good for your daughter who is the one hurting the most in this situation. Good luck in raising her and get help from a professional who deals in these types of cases. You all are in my prayers!

We have raised this baby her whole life. Her mother hasn't contacted her in 2 years and now she is taking us to court to try and get visitation on school holidays and over the summer. Her mom lives 6 hrs away , this poor baby's nerves are tore up with the thought of having to spend the night with out us being around. We are also asking for God to intervene in this situation. I'm sure he is hurting, and it's is hard on him as well. We are not trying to keep her from him and we hope they can have a good relationship with each other. I pray for him as well as his family too. My wife let her go live with him at 5 as she at the time wanted to live with her Dad. It broke my wife's heart to let her go but didn't want her to hate her later in life thinking she tried to keep her from him. So now she wants to live with her Mom and Me not because she is mad at her Dad, but because she needs her Mom at this age more. They all have a good relationship except the ex's so we always pray things will go smooth as possible.
We plan on getting her all the help she needs in this and all other matters concerning her health and beyond.
