    Default Motorguide Xi5 Sonar/GPS model

Seriously looking to buy the Xi5 for my tunnel jet jon boat. Checking out the 80lb 54" shaft 24v version. Anyone have one? I currently have a Terrova Riptide 112 on my flats boat. Didnt want to spend that kind of money on my other boat. Currently have a MG tour edition 72lb foot control on it now. Want to use that boat as my crappie catcher. Is it a good TM? How do you like the sonar option? Any interference on your units? I run HDS-7 on the front of this boat.

Well, I was going to suggest doing what my friend did. He has a large center console and a bass boat. He has the 24 volt Terrova and he got the quick disconnect mount for it and he can swap it between boats in less than 2 minutes.

Dannnngggggggggg!!!!! I didnt know this existed. Never even seen where anyone even mentioned a quick disconnect. That would have been the way to go! I would only have to find a place to mount a 3rd battery. Crap, now i may have to call and cancel my order. IF it hasnt already shipped.
