    Default Saturday nite 7/7

The bite was slow for most of us. A couple nice fish were boated. Great turn out 5 boats for a Holiday week. Everybody on our boat caught some fish, it was too bad it wasn't a Perch jerk. I think we'd have taken 1st Prize.
It was good for me getting back on the water after a couple month of too much work. Thanks BigDawgg for the ride always fun.
We were treated to a fireworks display while we fished, I can't believe the money folks spend on those things.
JigPuller the banana pudding would have been out of this world..... you said you'd come down

All I can say is you'll should have seen the one that got away from me at the top of the water! It was huge! Thanks to Ferlon and his big crappie crossing my line, mine was lost! I have no picture or anyone to validate this statement but it was the big fish of the night. Ferlon' s son Jordan joined in on the boat and I know he must think we are crazy. He caught some fish at least but next time will be much better on a perch jerk. He seamed to be a magnate to them things. Thanks guys for a good night out, we will have to do it again. Now if Ferlon will join CDC he will be a treat to us with his smile and courage to be with the crazy guys! Good night , good friends, good crowd and lots of laughs! Thanks you guys! Oh! We had 6 crappies and several throw backs, 3 keeper perch and one catfish.
I'm glad Brett doesn't have my phone number because I know he would have called to check on us before he went to bed!

Thanks Dawgg for gettin this one going. Had fun with everyone. Especially the first timers. Ferlon and Jordan along with Chris that fished on Stevies boat. Good to see all the old faces and hope we dont scare away the new ones. Brett , sorry I didnt make it over to tuck you in but we were busy as a one leg man in a butt kickin contest. Those perch went through 8 dozen minners like a double cheese burger through The Dawgg ! My boat was slow on the crappie bite but on fire with perch and slimeys. We only caught 9 crappie of which 2 were at wiegh in. My sidekick Miss Ema saved us from being shut out. She put the only two keepers we had in the boat for us. That little girl is a perch jerkin pro already. Hope we get another one up real soon. Ya'll need to come on out and join this crazy night time crowd. You may even catch fish or at least hear bout the biggun's that got away!
Here are a few numbers from last night.
Had six teams sign up. All boats weighed in crappie. Some more than others .
1st. place with five fish was Team Griff with 4.09 lbs.
2nd. place Team turkeyfoot with 3.2 lbs.
3rd. place was Team S.S. Minnow with 2.86 lbs.
4th place was Team Daniel with 2.85 lbs.
5th place was Team Dawgg with 2.62 lbs.
6th. place weighing only 2 crappie was Team Ema with 2.14 lbs.
The big fish of the night went to Team Ema with a nice fish at 1.49 lbs.
Again Thank you all and waiting for our next one. Several lakes were brought up. But I think Fishing Creek was the most wanted. We shall see. High Rock aint out of the picture by no means. Keep lookin we may be comin to a lake near you !
