    Default White Crappie in Wylie


    Gents
    How many of y’all that fish Wylie regularly for crappie have caught a white crappie?
    Give me a percentage

    I’m going with 1% because I must have caught 1 or 2

    1-2 total in 10 years, but I’m not a regualar. Remember one from Catawba Creek.

    I haven’t fished Wylie in a number of years, but I have caught a few in the past. Same goes for Lake Murray. I have never caught a White in Lakes Wateree or Greenwood. The best white crappie lakes in this state that I’m aware of are Santee, Clarkhill/Thurmond, Hartwell, and Russel.

    Brett, there were quite a few in Wylie years ago. I caught a few but haven't seen one in a very long time.. Everett, his dad and uncle Joe caught them back in early 70's. I have a picture, if I can locate it I'll post it. I'd say 1% also. I know of two black nose crappie out of Wylie. CK 1, Bo and Monk the other 1.
