    Default Project boat progress

Hey guys here's some pictures of the slow process of my latest boat project.Name: IMG_2030.jpg
Views: 503
Size: 67.8 KB interior was rough, boat sat out in the weather its entire life.

Size: 113.0 KB I took all the flooring out, welded in some 3/4" tubing for extra bracing for the new 1/8" aluminum floorName: IMG_1367.jpg

Size: 51.4 KB added a tackle box and sliding doors at the rear. I made a built in tackle box for the console. The exterior was faded bad and the graphics were cracked up so I decided to paint it. Boy was that a big job getting the graphics off. I used a heat gun and several different solvents to finally get them off. This was the toughest job of the project.

Every hinge on the boat came pop riveted to the compartment/ door and every one was broke when I got. ALL doors/ hinges now are attached with 10-24 SS screws and lock nuts,Name: IMG_1392.jpg

The interior has new carpet on the console and storage compartment/ shifter areas. The bow is painted diamond plate aluminum and the floor is the foam mat stuff. Rod holders will be next.

Here you can see the tackle box in the console. I added a little door and storage under the bow, left the door unpainted and tried to polish it up a bit.And the next pic you can see the under seat storage and the tackle box at the rearName: IMG_2025.jpg
