    Default my all time pb

I had a little time to kill wednesday afternoon. I picked up my newlywed son and drove down to townville to fish the old iron bridge.

    Here's what we got:

That bigger one is my personal best ever. (15")

Not much compared to pics posted by you guys, but what a thrill for me!

So as I was bragging about this today, the guy I was talking to told me he caught a 5lb. 2 oz. out west somewhere. It was close to a state record. Kinda rained on my parade.

So anyhow, the best part was spending a little time w/ my boy!

Al least you were able to get out with your boy and spend some quality time with him that is what really matters. Congratulations on your pb and don't take to heart what everyone says about catching fish unless they have proof.

Congrats on the pb. A 15" is a nice crappie. Dont worry about others, some peoples reaction would be the same if it was 17" and remember these lakes were producing alot bigger fish back in the day. Technology and pressure i think has contributed to big fish become harder to catch. Wish i could fosh but look like that may not be the case this weekend.

Congrats on a great outing with your son. Like already mentioned, don't worry about others talking down about your PB. That's a nice fish anywhere and it's your best to date so be proud! A lot of folks don't really know what fish weigh. I hear people every year talking about catching bunches of 2.5-3 lbers from Murray and that's a lie. They are more realistically catching 1.5-2 lb fish but don't have scales to weigh. Be proud and go catch you a bigger one now!!

Thanks for sharing. The best thing is getting out with you son to share those moments. Don't let it bother you about that other guy. I don't pay attention when others say they caught over 100 and such, great for them. I just try to learn from others to pass those skill set with others I fish with. Enjoy this great moment with your son.

Great fish by all respects ! That guys must have been talking about a bass! Like said he probably don't know what he was talking about. I saw one close to four pounds that my cousin caught but that was 50 years ago and it has grown over the years!
    Good PB
