    Default The hill

I got the toon in the shop so I am going to try the hill tomorrow with Micorps and his dad who is visiting our fine state from Minnesota. Haven't seen any reports so going to try the sc little river side.

A friend of mine was there Saturday and said the water was high. But they caught some stripers.

Don see you in the am hopefully be at your place between 7-730. Small crappie and some females already on shores in coves in 4-8 fow on wateree, had a good day today. We can try 1/16 early but will bring 1/32 shallower, they might be shallow.

I can't help you with the SC Little River side, but the fishing in general was on fire last week at the hill. I got caught up with catching bass of all varieties and never really went after the crappie. I don't know what this cold front moving through will do to the fishing but water temps were in the low 60's and probably will not change much.

Without giving away any secrets.....I will tell ya that if youre willing to put in the effort you CAN find the crappie and catch ya a good mess of 'em. Don, you already know how cause Ive fished beside ya and seen how you fish.....it's just a matter of picking your creek to fish in and finding the right presentation for the "biting" fish. Now that said.....go get 'em.
