Default how close is to close???

I was anchored down fishin in the mouth of Allison crk. yesterday when a pair of "wise men" came up in a boat and started circling us twice out of about 5 or 6 times close enough to hit um with the end of my 12 ft rod one of um finally ask how we were doing so I said pretty good till a couple fools started circling my boat == so "answer a fool and get another foolish answer" he said yeah I know but if you gonna fish this lake you will have to put up with that kind of stuff poor feller didn't even know I was talking to him but after a little silent prayer I just ignored um after they anchored up about 20 yards from my toon.
just wondering has anyone else had something like that happen to you and how close do you think is to close to get to some ones boat when you can see 7to8 hundred acres of water and not a boat in sight

happened to me today, 2 guys came in wide open and run right up beside me, and started fishing as if I wasn't there, I was on one side of brush pile and they came up to the other side of pile and started casting, so i started talking to them since i could have knocked them out of there boat with my rod!old they both caught a fish first cast but that didn't last long and I had them cut off from the rest of the pile, after I caught about 15 crappie in front of them , they decided to move on, it was kinda funny after i thought about it, I could hear them say" he's got another slab" every time I caught a fish!

i was shooting docks with a buddy of mine Primus on Greenwood several years ago and had a fishing charter boat troll right beside us and I was hugging the shoreline. Funny thing was that we were wearing them out and I dont think I saw them pull one fish out.

You got to have that casting rod rigged with lead and a treble hook. Works every time!
