is this real

4 lb. crappie are not unheard of. In this case, that picture is a total fake. You can clearly see the sharp lines around the fish as it was cropped from another picture and pasted on the one with the child.

The picture didn't load for me, but my wife sent me the same image (I think) the other day. I didn't look that close at it, but at a quick glance it looked legit to me. I didn't see any sign of photoshop job and the little girls hands looked real holding the fish.

I mean, I normally catch one like this every year or so. Normally, I happens in the spring time and twice it's been the first full moon in March. Fishing 4" tubes around rip-rap points with a hard bottom has always been the ticket for true slabs for me. Tipping with large shiners of course....
