What areas of the lake are you familiar with? The lake is approx. 11ft below pool therefore the rivers are very hazardous.
I know this is a crappie board but I was considering a trip with the wife to Clark Hill to do some striper/hybird fishing. Anyone willing to give advice on where to look for them? Have the fish moved up in the rivers yet? Thanks for any help!

The Raysville and Holiday Park areas are historically good around Christmas. So is SC Little River up near Golf Course. Look for concentrations of gulls and bait. Stripers will be near. Fishing Creek on upper end, and Keg Creek on lower end can be good too. That just about covers the four corners! As someone else said, be careful the lake is almost 10 ft low. I ran aground several times a couple weeks ago when we were down there. Upper end Broad River near Cooter Creek real dangerous. Hope this helps some. Tight Lines!
Once in Cooter Creek, its not too bad. Getting there by coming up River is a challenge.
Don M, there's a lot of striper fishing along the channel of Savannah all the way from the mouth of Broad and Savannah Rivers to the dam behind Lake Russell. Not sure how it will be with the lake so low but usually there's striper fishermen there anytime I am down there.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
This weekend the water was clear down around Dordon creek, Landam creek and Plum Branch areas with lots of birds diving at mouth of creek.
I was in little river yesterday up around Buffalo Springs area. Water stained heavy but fishable as l caught crappie and 3 smaller stripers.
Saw couple boats pulling planer boards around golf course area.
Birds are there.
Just be careful up Savannah river standing timber is sticking up.
I quit going up river as l fish by myself and had some close calls up there a few weeks back as motor clipped top of trees under water.
Hope this helps.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!
