Default Pearl color of the morning

Started fishing Colonel Creek bridge as the sun was coming up it was nice and cool and water was calm . I started with chartreuse nothing went to black again nothing switched to pearl and it was like I flipped a switch it went from fishing to catching one right after the other, a few were over 8 inch but most were 7 inch or under . I want to thank the person who posted about making the hook removal tool out of chop sticks it sure came in handy today the way they were sucking that grub down .

It's fun catching but when nothing but little ones bite it's time to look for some that is bigger somewhere else. Just saying....

Congrats on your catch and on a great morning spent on the water.

Thanks for the report and glad you got your line stretched by some fish. That is more than most of us are doing !
I keep some pearl jig bodies in all my boxes because I like the looks of them and because it was one of Dads favorites.
Keep the reports and pics coming.

Just think of what you may have caught with a lantern hung over the water before daylight! Glad you got into some fish. I like catching any size crappie because I can always throw them back but you can't throw them back if you ain't catching any. You had fun and that's the main thing! Thanks for the report and pictures.
