Thread: Want to take a week off/ try out Marion swamp

Would love to hit the shellcracker spawn as I hear it's quite good in upper Lake Marion. I believe the full moon in April is around the 12th. Does that sound like a good time? And I'd probably take tackle for bass and crappie too. Anyone with experience care to lend any tips or time to hit it right? I live in North Augusta so it's not just around the corner. Thanks.

I wasn't able to join my buddies last April for our usual spring week at Stumphole and they really caught a ton of shellcrackers. Mostly on redworms around the openings in the trees.
