I'd like to know how to make a 7lbs fish look that big in a picture, does he have extra long arms or what?

Don the lake i want to bring you too really only has walleye and small mouth, which is rare for mn as most lakes have a bundance of northern pike. The lakes where we caught all the fish in the photos is the lake, can use my parents camper so we dont have to traile and know of a get resort. I just hope i can make it to june without using leave, work is killing me, i would like to take three weeks just to get alot of fishing in. My parents live a rock throw from a good walleye lake, but want to fish one 30 min away that is know to produce multiple 30" walleyes in a day. Would be best if we rode together so we have multiple drivers with the boat (wife doesnt drive with trailers). Its 1400 miles to ne mn.

Micorps, you and your family have caught some beautiful smallmouths. Would be fun getting into those fish any day.
You need to check out Jocassee Lake, it has smallmouths and some great brown trout along with the other spices we have. It is a deep clear lake that can blow up fast when storms roll over the mountains but the feeder arms have some great places to see and fish. The deep places can go up to 350' deep.

    Enjoyed the pictures you shared

350' is alot of water, i actually wasnt fishing for smallies, they were in the same place as the walleyes in june and were biting my walleye rigs, the things were pigs. Biting my leech with two crawfish they still hadnt swallowed. Livewell stunk from the walleye spitting out bait also. Alot of healthy fish in the lake. Think i will just focus on crappie and stripe this winter for noe.

I had a little extra free time today so I went out by my house and looked for brush piles. I found a few more that were loaded with fish. I hope to get out Friday morning and give them a try. I will let you know how I do. Don
