    Default Fished some cooler water

62 degree water!! Went north of the boarder last week on a hunting trip and rented a boat to try a walleye. This was a first for me but the lord blessed me and my uncle with a limit. I felt really good as for we were in amoungst several big Lund, blue fin and alumacraft boats. I was captn of a 14 ' something so old I never saw a name. The walleye pulled quite well, I knocked the boat out of gear each time we had a fish on. We rented the last boat the guy had and didn't have a landing net but fared well.heres my first ever walleye.Name: image.jpg

Sam congrats on a great trip. With everyone scoring a bear the trip was good but then to add a day walleye fishing moved the trip to a great one Show us some pics of the bears when you can.

    Great report.
I went to Canada with some friends camping on a remote lake. Walleyes spoiled me. They were eager to bite and we had fresh fried walleye 5 of the 7 nights we stayed. Some of the best tasting fish I've eaten.
Oh yea the bear.... I stayed awake half the night hoping one would not visit our campsite. If he did I never heard or saw one.
