Got an early start on Big Allison about 6 this morning fishing for bass. Off the water about 10:30. I caught 8 bass on drop shot in about 25'. All were small with the largest about 2 1/2 lbs. Also threw a spoon for a while but no takes except 2 perch.

I did not catch a single bass where I had been catching them.

I have been marking a lot of fish on humps & points but they have not been hitting my spoons. The few perch that I have caught have been about 20' deep.

Seeing perch 15 to 30 feet points and humps mostly points they are scattered right now. Hard to find big schools. Should be schooling pretty soon.

Monday I caught perch in 12 to 18 foot of water on points, upper end of lake, they were every where! Lot of small one, 6 to 8 inches long with big ones mixed in.
