    Default Clark's Hill fishable?

My buddy and I were planning to fish Clark's Hill the weekend of Oct 23rd. Can anyone tell me how the water is looking or if it might be fishable by then? Thanks!

Sounds like it is time for a road trip to the Hill for some fall crappie fishing

Thanks for the info guys. I am the buddy that is going. We have been wanting to come down there and now the moon, planets, and stars are finally aligned. We usually troll but unsure what we need to do. We used to fish Lake Weiss alot. Spend most of our time on Douglass lake. I am excited. Can't wait and would appreciate any info. Thanks.

Trolling will work well for you on the Hill. It is a great lake for crappie and I know y'all will have a great time. What part of the lake are you planning to fish.

Yes, thanks for the info guys! We will probably stay in Lincolnton and launch on the Ga side. I have some advice on some creeks in the upper end, so we may start there. Any areas better than other? Any colors hot right now?

Sounds like you have a good plan. From where you are staying all the creeks going up lake will be good. With me being from the upstate I fish the upper end of the lake only because it is the closest to me and it always holds fish but we also have fished the lower creeks and had a great time pulling in real good crappie.
You will be OK and FYI, the Georgia fish are not as smart as the SC fish so they are easier to catch!!
