All fish caught in 30 feet of water 16 to 20 feet down live bait only kept 15. now on to my ? all the fish and I mean all 15 fish where female and all of the ladies had eggs in them so my ? is. Do crappie spawn more them one time a year? Or will they hold the eggs until the spring or does the weather have them messed up? If the 15 I got on sat. had eggs I am sure that there are more swimming around with them as well. I know some body has the answer most of you guys have been fishing for more years than I am old. Those eggs are for the 2015 spring spawn. You will see them in most all the female crappie you catch in the winter.

Nice catch and a good crappie in the pic.

I agree, those eggs are for the 2015 spawn. You figure, it won't be but 2-3 months before they start laying.
Hooking up every chance I get!
