I think the thermacline is very visible in all the pictures. I'm just not sure what youre seeing in that last one though. My graph shows a thermacline at a certain depth and the water column beneath the thermacline is grainy all the way to the bottom. Most all of your pictures shows that except for the last one. Did you change the sensitivity or something?

rango, I am a complete dummy when it comes to electronics, but I have seen lines form when boat transducer is moving at same speed as fish,.It makes me wonder if bow of boat was anchored and rear may have been moving with fish, or fish is coming up from deeper water. Interesting!!

When a fish comes under the cone of the transducer it will continue drawing a line until the fish moves from under the ducer (boat barely moving or sitting still). A limb or anything else will do the same thing. Usually, only when the boat is moving will you get arches on a graph....that being the fish moving across the cone of the 'ducer at a fair pace.

Man that SI is nice. Great pics of the under structure. I also think that is the thermacline you are seeing. Congrats on the new unit.Thumbs Up

My sensitivity was set the same in all pics. In the last picture, it shows a similiar line but at a different depth, so I am not sure what it was. I really like the unit. Not sure if I will catch more fish or not, but its fun to look at. :D

    Guys,
I have a Df question not exactly in this subject by maybe you can help. I have the Navionics PC app on my PC and I have been able to transfer data back and forth from the PC to my HB using and SD memory card. Today I added a couple of spots on my home lake on the PC and normaily I just plug in my SD card and use the file download menu on the app to add data to the SD card. Then I plug the SD card in the HB and it downloads to the DF when I turn it on.
Today when I try to download the data to the SD chip from my PC it says nofiles match your search. I am clicking on the "save to card" button, then selecting the Humminbird format, then select the SD card and click save and I get the above message.
Anyone using this and can shed any light on what I am doing wrong?? Never had a problem before today.
    Thanks

I have always enjoyed seeing different sonar images. Here are a couple from keowee back in May. I am guessing the school of fish are spotted bass.
