Thanks...this is one of those deals if it sells fine, if not fine. It is not ideal for the trout river I am moving to....but it will be good for the panfish lakes around the area. If I wind up taking it with me I may repower to a jet drive...or sell it out there and buy a trout boat.

Well...at age 70 wife and I decided to build our dream home...dream to us anyway...LOL....1800 square foot home with a detached 700 square foot shop. The shop is for my fishing gear and boat...plus the wife will do her projects in it too. The town is Kensett, Arkansas. A spot in the road but right next to Searcy, Arkansas. I'll be less than 30 minutes from all the world class trout fishing I could want...plus several nice panfish lakes close by. This decision came about really because of one reason...Murfreesboro, TN has gotten way too big too quick. Arkansas offered us a huge bang for the buck with low housing prices...compared to TN. I understand these towns wanting to grow but all this influx without regard to infrastructure to handle it really causes problems. So I'm having one last big adventure...LOL.

Just my two cents on jet, I run a jet, have for years mostly White Norfolk and other rivers. The most miserable day I ever spent in a jet was on the Little Red below Heber. Sucking up coontail at low flow was a pain. Used trolling motor to get back. I see lots of guys run jets there, but not at low flow when you need one??? Best of luck, the little red above Greer’s is a good place for jet crappie white bass walleye tight lines

Yeah I hear ya....I know several guides out there and some folks who live on the river. They all tell me to bring the boat that on 1 generator it will be fine. Many say same as you...on low flow they can't use their jet drives in a lot of places. I'll probably take it with me.
