Default Wanted: St. Croix Premier PC70MM, Shimano Compre CPCM80HE

    This is a longshot.

I have some rods that I really like that are now discontinued. The new versions of them are completely different.

St. Croix PC70MM Premier 7' one piece Medium Moderate Crankbait Casting Rod

Shimano Compre CPCM80HE 8' one piece Musky Casting Rod

I am interested in purchasing several of each, lightly used or new. I am not interested in any other model.

Well dang. I have a St Croix pgc66mm, but not the 7'. It's gotta be 15 years old and has almost no use. I didn't care for the moderate action.

Same boat as you, I have three and need one more. I love them with the new Daiwa line counters.

    Want to sell yours?

    haha

I have 5 of them and also run them with Daiwa linecounters. I want at least one more, but would probably buy 3 if they were available.

I'm in Memphis and I'd gladly sell it. I think they were $90 new, but it's "vintage" so that makes it worth 20x as much. "No lowballers, I know what I got". Lol. If you're near Memphis and want to pick it up, $45 seems reasonable.

Thanks Big Mike, that is very reasonable. However, I am back in central Missouri now, so should probably change my login name.

That would be a perfect rod to troll crankbaits with, but I will have to pass as that does not match what I have.

Ryan, I have a PC70MHM that will do me for now to go with my other 3. Sucks that they discontinued the moderate action. I got my PC70MM used on bass boat central, but not seen any on there for a long time.

I'll probably just keep an eye open for the specific rods I'm looking for.

Needing one is a pretty strong word. 5 rods trolling for crappie is probably more than adequate.

The Shimano Compre Musky rod I've been looking for has proven to be even harder to find. Most shops never even stocked them because they are a 8' one piece rod.
