I found a sale through Walmart on line and ordered the 10 amp 2 bank MInnkota charger. Got it for around $80 which is quite a bit cheaper than normally priced and no shipping charges since I picked it up at the local store.
I returned it for 2 reasons.
1. The thing is really heavy. The 10 amp 2 bank charger from BPS that was on my boat when I sold it weighed about 2 pounds, this one was close to 10 pounds. I have a 16 ft stick steer with a 40 HP and I did not want another 10 pounds in the back with the batteries and gas tank.
2. The MK 2 bank does not fully distribute the 10 amps. It is 5 per bank. On the BPS model, the cranking battery usually charges back up in an hour or so and the unit sends all 10 amps to the TM battery. This was the main issue for me and why I returned it. The BPS model that came on my Tracker was 15 years old and still going strong when I sold the boat. I bought the MK because I could get it for about $40 less, but I returned it for the reasons stated.
I bought a new BPS 10 amp charger like the previous one and have been very happy with it. Remember, free advice is worth what you paid for it.
