Yeah after rethinking things, I’m not sure of my measurements. Gotta double check tomorrow. Measuring the thickness of a half circle bearing with a flat tipped micrometer is not right. Gotta buy more tools! Yay

I would use a small ballbearing on the inside them subtract the ballbearing diameter to mic a curved surface.

Is that oil on the casing??? Their appears to be all kinds of Debree where it thinned out while sloshing around. What did the oil look like when drained??? I'm interested in what the person from Mahle has to say as well. Still trying to figure the ford bearings out in a Yamaha outboard...
Oh there's debris, and yes, what you see is oil, and there's some anti-seize consistency like material there. Plus there was lots of glitter in the oil filter as well. I'll have to get a pic of the oil filter, it's looks real pretty now with the oil drained oss it, nice Christmassy glitter!
