Yup, you crazy nutso like Fonzi would say. Good luck with it.
At least my wife tells me so. I bought a jeep. An old jeep. A 1996 Jeep Cherokee. Six cyl, my favorite. I worked on six cyl BMWs and I think this one will be fun. It's transmission needs rebuilding, yay. More fun. Boat project done, jeep project underway.

Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
nice project
Cool, sounds like a good project.
Congratulations,
I have a 4.0 in my tj. Should be a nice vehicle for fishing, hunting ,camping.
Good luck
At least you're picking your own fights, I had to put a new Clockspring in my 2009 pickup, lower ball joints and swaybar links in the Fishin' Expedition, Monday my 2001 2500HD I have to pull the Bed off to replace the Fuel Pump/Sending Unit module, and lastly my Mercedes had to go in the shop for a new Computer. It's very good when you have something else to drive while working on your new Jeep.

Nice! My parents had a Jeep like that around that year. I remember it could get up and go.
That 4.0 is a beast. Hard to beat a straight six for durability
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
its never crazy to work on a Jeep! Tham Cherokee's were the best
I have one sitting in my driveway right now. It's what I drive, a 1996 Cherokee Sport 4.0. It has over 250,000 miles on it and runs like a top. It is beat up and banged up but it keeps on running. I plan on using it till the wheels fall off of one of us.
