    Isn't this exactly what I should be looking for? I managed to catch one 9" and that's it. Tried all kinds of different thing. Chickamauga. Water was 61F and it was sunny and windy.

    (Sorry for the photo. I know about screen capture but forgot my Active Captain card in my desktop. :o)

    That’s stuff you should be looking for. They might not always be on that structure though, they move around. If you can find several structures and mark them then you should have areas to go check out each trip. Hopefully you find them good on one of them. Sometimes you just catch one or two off any structure and have to move on, sometimes they just aren’t active.

    I would vertical jig it. You could tie on a double jig rig and let it pendulum down to the fish. I would also tie on one of the bobber stops to help mark the depth of your jigs.

    Nice shot but it looks like only a very few small fish there. Worth checking again but can't catch them if they aren't there.

    looks like someone sunk condos along that tree possibly ?
    the larger fish might be stuck to the tree, on the right side of the image there might be a decent fish
