Default HB Helix 9 MSI GPS G3N trolling motor tranducer

I have a Minn Kota 55# thrust trolling motor. Will the XTM 9 SI 180T transducer work with the hummingbird 9. Can't seem to be able to contact HB about the exchange program on line. Any advice on the exchange or contacting them?

XTM 9 SI 180T will work on HELIX 9 MSI G3N but the unit would have to be “dumbed down” (in the Connected Transducer” menu) to transmit the frequencies the XTM 9 SI 180T is tuned to ...

XTM 9 HW MSI T would be the optimal trolling motor xducer ...

Or you can buy the trolling motor adapter and use the stock XM 9 HW MST T

Is there a reason you are interested in the XTM 9 SI 180T with your G3N ... ??

Only that I would think a trolling motor transducer would be perfered over mounting two side by side transducers on the transom. Interest in the above transducer is waning as my trolling motor is less than 80# trust and like won't fit, right?

The documented info says it won’t fit ...

Can you post a pic of the stock XM 9 HW MSI T next to the TM housing ?? ... maybe the skeg could be modified ...
