Default Newbie: How to read sonar/downscan/sidescan

Looking for a little bit of help. I have a Lowrance Elite 9ti2. I'm relatively new to crappie fishing and using these newer graphs as well. I was trying to locate some fish on the Arkansas river this weekend. Been having a hard time translating what I'm seeing on the graphs to putting fish in the boat. Attached are 3 images. The sonar/DS split is when I went right over the area. The left side scan was at 400hz and the right side scan was at 800hz of relatively the same area on different passes. By what I saw on the down scan, I would've thought I found a mess of schooled up fish, but no matter what I tried I couldn't spark a nibble.

Any help translating what I'm seeing?

I've done a bunch of google searching and reading and that has definitely helped. The pictures of the sidescan images are not the best, so I apologize. Need to see if my unit can take screenshots.

Definitely looks like fish or bait. What depth were you fishing?

Started at 25ft and worked my way up to 15ft.

I've seen that type of screen shot too. I think it is carp that I saw. Wish you could've caught something out of it.

When taking photos with a phone camera to post in the forum - hold the phone in Landscape orientation ...

Photos have an orientation “tag” that the forum software doesn’t understand ...

I’m seeing the same things on my scans. See lots of what I believe to be fish, it can’t get them to touch anything I’m showing them.
