    Default Garmin 93 plus?

Is there a way to create a way point with out saving it? Say you find a brush pile or structure and only what to check it out to see if it's promising or not without saving it.

I don’t think so but why not set it check it out then delete it? That’s what I do.

X2 I’m not good at the deleting part though.

That's what I'm doing, but wish that there was a way to goto location with out saving first. Guess I'll speedup the process up with more time playing with it.

Pretty sure there’s no temp way of making a WPT. You’ll just have to delete if it don’t pan out. You about ready for some dock fishing?

Yes I have that on my 93sv UHD but I don't know I could hit it if I fell out of kayak.....lol. I doubt and hope nobody has to use it.

I suppose it’s a thought, but you would still have to delete the MOB if you didn’t like it. And if you did you would replace it with a waypoint.

I scan while I fish with my trolling motor most of the time so if I see something on SI I make a sharp turn around it which leaves a circle in my boat track on my screen. I then scan inside that circle with DI and 2D and if it is something I want to mark I know I am right on top of it when I see it on 2D. You can also do it from the console as you go down a bank then go back and check out all your circles. A buoy is another good way. My birds are not linked so anytime I see a tight circle I know it is somewhere I saw something of interest whether I marked a waypoint or not even if it was a school of suspended fish or bait ball.
