Yes, it appears that is happening here, as well. I have the remote for the wireless transducer mount that allows me to swivel the transducer easily. Guess I just need to sweep obvious locations to try and find them. We are seeing big schools of bait and, unfortunately, schools of white bass but the crappie remain elusive.

The bigger crappie here are by themselves or at most in groups of 3. The ticket for me seems to be able.to target the fish that are just suspended in the water column and not moving. It's very hard to get a moving fish to stop, then around, and then hit your bait. It happens but the percentage is low for me.

Oh, and congratulations on the remote Livescope. Would really like your opinion of it after you've used it a couple of trips!

What depth would you recommend for the suspended fish or does it have to do with flats and points or proximity to shallow water creeks?

The converted wireless trolling motor used as a transducer pole is absolute genius. I have to give credit to my friend and fishing buddy Tim Pham of Skunked Again YouTube fame. He walked me through it although it is simplicity itself. I ended up replacing the wireless remote motor controller switch as it is smoother and comes with two remotes. All for less than $10 on Amazon. I just hit the release, drop the shaft with the transducer mounted on it like any other mount and control the head directions with a small remote. So simple yet unbelievably effective. I can sit at the console or on the cooler up front from where I normally sit and rotate the transducer to focus on the brush or suspended fish. I can also use it to sweep the area in front of or around the boat to find brush or fish. Let me know and I will pm you some pics. I still have Rickie’s excellent Da Ducer as a backup.
