I've had the Lowrance Elite 5DSI & now have the Hook 7 .... both of which I use exclusively for Down Imaging. The Hook series has 2d & 2d/DI overlay capabilities ... neither of which I use with any frequency.

All the screenshot pics I've posted were from the E5DSI unit ... and I have a map card in the Hook unit, so I don't have the capability of taking screenshots from it, but the images are very close to those I got from the E5DSI unit ... just on a bigger screen.

As I understand it .... the Hook2 series is a whole lot better unit than my (Gen 1) Hook.
