Thread: A few images from today

The fall bite here is really going on strong and the weather today was beautiful. Sunny, light winds with a temperature in the mid to upper 50's. Water temp back up to 56. Crappie are grouping up everywhere. Brush, bridges, rocks, and docks. It's tough having to fish during the week but someone needs to do it,
As per Don's request the first couple of images are a comparison of the blue and amber pallets on my HB Helix. They are networked together and share an SI Mega transducer.



The slight differences in the picture are due to how long it takes me to press the screenshot button on each unit. I used to love the blue pallet but now my eyes have gotten used to the amber (I think). Also feel I see more with the amber. Blue is from my Helix 10 and the amber from my Helix 12, not sure if that makes a difference.

Here's a blue one of 2 bridge pilings, one to the left and other to the right.



And last a screenshot from my Livescope, this pile was packed!!! I caught about 60 today, most were in the 1lb range with several up to 1-1/2 lbs in about 4 hours of fishing. Casting homemade jigs and tight lining a few minnows over them when the be slowed.



I have some more screenshots from today but you get a good idea what I was seeing.
