    Default 12-16-19 Report

I got out Monday for a few hours. The fish that were setup on the brushpiles for the past few months appear to have finally moved. Some are still in the creeks but the ones that I found have moved out to the main lake. Caught about 40 on my homemade jigs, mostly vertical jigging IN the brush and rocks. You had to put it right on their nose to get a bite. Caught some nice size fish, a 16" white that weighted right on 2lbs, a chubby black that went 1lb, 12oz, several more 1.5 and 20 or so more 1lb+. Here are a few screenshots. Hope to get back out soon,

That almost looks like cheating. Sonar don't make them bite but it sure helps to know they are fish there for sure. I only have the Humminbird 899 SI but it has sure helped my catch ratio. Thanks for sharing the report and great pictures.
Be safe and good luck fishing

    Very nice.

Wish we had that kind of crappie fishing up this way.

Looks like you have the HB and Garmin dialed in for very effective search and catch.

    Nowhere to hide! LOL

    Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks!
At the console I have a 10" Helix Mega SI/DI G2N unit networked to a 12" Helix Mega DI G2N unit. No transducer connected to the 12" unit, all images are shared from the 10" unit. I also have the lowQ DI transducer connected to the 10" Helix via y cable for improved 2d images. On the 12" screen I mainly keep it on side imanaging. I run maps, 2d, and DI in various conbanations on the 10" Helix
I now have the Garmin Echomap Ultra 122 unit with the 12" screen on the bow of my boat running Livescope only. No maps, no other transducer. For me I get everything I need from Livescope. I started with an Echomap 93sv plus unit but struggled to see the screen in bright sunlight. This is not an issue with the Ultra.
Really loving my setup, Find fish and structure with my Birds, fish for them with my Livescope.

Great pics. Really enjoy your posts because I have the 10" helix SI/DI G2N and Garmin 93 with live scope. My DI works great just wish I could get my SI dialed in half as good as you do.
