Default New Helix 10 g3n di questions

I have it on the deck and a 999si at the console. Have everything linked together. My waypoints transferredfrom the 999 to the 10 automatically. I have a Lake Master card in the 999 but it won’t show up at the 10, it has the hb basemap but I don’t know how good it is.

I was also told I could bring the si image up to the Helix but I can’t find it anywhere.

I have several more things going on also, my Terova is giving me fits, spotlockis all over the place and the heading lock isn’t right either.

Waypoints don't automatically transfer between those models. They are stored in the memory of the unit they are created on and then shared through the network. Shared waypoints will be a different color and can only be deleted on the original unit.

Map cards cannot be shared between those models. Only ONIX and SOLIX models can share mapping.

Look under Network Menu/Network Source Setup menu and select the 999 model for SI. Be sure the 999 has latest software.

Sorry, don't have a response for the Terrova problems as I don't have one. Maybe someone else will be able to assist.

Is the map in the new Helix just as good as the Lake Master?

Glad you got it working. The Basemaps that came on your unit may not be better than what you get on a current LKM card. They were supposedly based on 2017 coverage and only included non-high definition (HD) coverage.
